This coffee comes from the Baliem Valley and grows at an altitude of 1,200 to 1,600 meters above sea level. Produced in the central mountainous region of Papua, the Papua Wamena coffee is famous for having a balanced and smooth taste. The coffee has an aroma with a blend of flower, spicy, and caramel. When viewed in terms of taste, Wamena coffee has a blend of nutty, orange, and herbal flavors. Papuan coffee also has a strong body and medium acidity, is smooth, and has a clean aftertaste. It is considered an ideal coffee for making one of the best mochas in the world.
